Blue
It’s been a while since I was planning about writing about anything, but couldn’t find the right words. So, today I’ll just write things coming to my mind related to “Blue”. It is such a calming color, and there is something about blue that naturally puts you at ease.
When I think about blue, I remember the anime “Blue Period”, which beautifully captures the essence of self-discovery through art. It was inspiring how you can completely change your life by pursuing what you love. You dont have to be perfect at something to start doing it, just start.
Perfect Blue (1997) tells the story of a pop idol facing the harsh side of fame. It shows her struggle to find herself while the world expects her to be someone else. The film is a haunting look at the pressures of stardom and the thin line between reality and illusion.
“yung kai - blue” is a song i’m listening to recently. It makes me feel blue which is a feeling of being sad, melancholy, or downhearted. But sometimes, being blue isn’t bad afterall, you discover more about yourself, what happinesse means to you, and what you want in life.
Blue also appears quietly in everyday life. You see it in the evening sky just before it turns dark, in the soft glow of a screen late at night, and in moments when everything feels still but heavy. It is a color that never demands attention, yet it stays longer than most.
There is comfort in that presence. Blue allows you to slow down and sit with uncertainty instead of running from it. Creativity often grows in these quiet spaces, when things are unclear but meaningful. A lot of personal growth happens silently, and blue seems to understand that.
Maybe that is why I keep coming back to it. Blue is more than sadness or peace. It is about becoming something new, unfinished, and real.
